      Hi guys,

I‘m almost finished building my bartop. I‘m really loving this piece of box but these config obstacles make me feel unhappy.

Actually I have an issue with Attract Mode.
In RetroPie Config I can see that lr-mame2003 and mame4all are installed. When I‘m starting a rom and get the little message box „press a key for config...“ I do so. Then the setup appears. Here I can change the emulator.
In that screen it shows me lr-mame2000 and mame4all. Why lr-mame2003 ist not shown there?

Any advice is appreciated. Many thanks.

      Best regards,
      Tolga

@itolga What directory do you have your ROM zip files installed? Try putting one or more in the Arcade folder and see if it lists mame2003.

Try deleting it from the install menu and installing it again, or update from source (this WILL take some considerable time so be very patient but it WILL eventually complete). It should update the config files and appear in the emulator choice menu

              Hi guys,

              sorry for the late reply.

              Roms are in „/home/pi/retropie/roms/mame-mame4all/“ folder.
Is it generally better to move them into the „arcade“ folder?

Do you mean deleting and reinstalling lr-mame2003?

Image is the most recent. I updated it yesterday.

              Best regards,
              Tolga

I put all arcade games in the Arcade folder just cause i have lr-mame2000/2003/2010 and lr-fbalpha and lr-fbalpha2012 to pick from for certain games.

                    No problem.
Oh and i would suggest testing out most of your games using fbalpha first before going to mame cause i found some games works better using fbalpha over mame.
