Bluetooth keyboard typing twice with some characters keyboard is fine on other devices

  • Hello I am using a Bluetooth keyboard by rocket fish, at first I thought it was just a dirty keyboard but right now it is connect to my phone as I am writing this out, and I have not had any issues it is hard to use on the retropie because at random points the keys will just double type no matter how quick I am with pressing the buttons below is my information, I am not home yet so I can not provide my configuration files but the only files I have messed with is where Retropie looks for my roms. I never had an issue with my USB keyboards but I like this keyboard for carrying to my room not having to worry about damaging my cable, plus it has media buttons.

Pi Model or other hardware: pi 3
Power Supply used: 5.2v 2.5 Amps
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): I think it is 4.4
Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website, Berryboot, or on top of existing OS etc.. - please provide the filename of any image used) pre-made SD card file, not sure what the file was named
USB Devices connected:f310 Logitech controller, 16gb USB stick
Controller used: f310 Logitech controller, Wiimote(not always connected)
Error messages received: N/a keyboard just double types feels like input lag not sure though
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant): not available
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide) no guide used
File: (File with issue - with FULL path), no file as the issue is with terminal and retroarch emulators
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable) any emulator using retroarch and double type in terminal
Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
How to replicate the problem: OK here is where it is odd, I connected it with Bluetooth, and the second Bluetooth option, (keyboard only) it might not be the second option but I have used every option except display only has it is a keyboard not a display, so I connected it to the retropie, and I started having issues it is just random on what it double types, sometimes it is the "s" key sometimes it is the backspace sometimes it is the enter key.

to anyone read this I am sorry it does not have good formatting, and really no info I am not sure what to put but the issue does not happen on my phone
