Noob in trouble
-
Hi everyone,
I've search on the forum and found some topics that are in the same issue, but I'm unable to resolve it.
I've installed retropie 4.4 on my raspberry pi zero and it's working all good, but when I boot my pi, the command lines are showing "checking in progress on 1 disk". It's very annoying because it tells me "Press Enter to continue", so i am forced to plug a keyboard every time i boot...I found that this is a problem of "fake hwclock", but I didn't understand how to change it (I'm kind of a noob).
However, i remember not having this problem 6 months ago when I have installed retropie 4.3. Unfortunately, I can't download this version anymore...If someone has the solution, please help me.
Thanks
**I have a raspberry pi Zero that isn't oveclocked, with retropie 4.4, and I've tried many times to format my sd card and restart from scratch, no satisfiying results.

@lonelik What sdcard are you using? Have you tried a different sdcard? Is it the official 4.4 image from this site that you are using?
-
Forgive me, but I must ask a stupid, obvious, and possibly insulting question. Did you use the 4.4 image made specifically for the Pi A and Pi Zero? NOT the one for the Pi 2 & 3?

@thedatacereal Ihave a sandisk ultra 64gb class 10.
I haven’t any other sd card to try right now, but i’ll test if i find one.
And yes i ve downloaded the image on the official website. -
@lyle_jp Of course yeah I ve downloaded the one for the pi zero x)

@lonelik Check out this link ..it gives you a solution on the "fake hwclock : https://github.com/kristjanvalur/fake-hwclock

Personally I'd set up wifi (don't forget to set up locales with Stretch) and see if it stops the issue.

Bad SD card. Try to install with a different card

I have already tried all of what you tell me.
Anyway thanks for trying helping me.
If someone has the same problem, the solution for me is to download retropie 4.3... - -‘
