Hey guys, I built my first RetroPie 4.4 a few days ago on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ in the NESPI CASE PLUS.

When I plugged in my first PS4 controller via USB, configure input says 2 gamepads detected, and it is set to Gamepad 1. Everything worked fine so I didn't question it.

However, when I plugged in a second DS4 for Mario Kart 64, it also counted as 2 gampads (now 4 total), and my second DS4 is set to Gamepad 3. I'm unable to control the second player in Mario Kart because Gamepad 2 doesn't really exist, player three works, and can be controlled with my second DS4.

I tried connecting my XBox One controller also via USB and it only detect as 1 Gamepad. How can I detect each DS4 as a single gamepad?

      Thanks in advance!

The DS3/4 controllers are detected as 2 gamepads with recent Linux kernels - see this topic for a discussion and a workaround to disable that.
