I like this theme very well, very good work.
is it possible to choose a background picture instead of just one color?

@dugo3number2 is only if Xbox Buttons are set, go with Playstation Buttons, at least for me.

@lilbud No, nothing. @Gremko I will try PS buttons, although I have an Xbox controller.

Update: @Gremko It worked with PS buttons. @lilbud It is just the main menu that is affected.

@dugo3number2 I found the error, it is in the file letters.xml
/opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/themes/switch/settings/letters.xml

replace:
<path> ./../ assets / buttons / Xbox_Buttons_system.svg </ path>

with:
<Path> ./../ assets / buttons / Xbox_Buttons_System.svg </ path>

AFAIK, I don't think you can do a carousel for the gridlist on the default ES. I can set one row to show, but you can't have a scrolling carousel.

@lilbud Even though there's a 4:3 option. do you know how this handles on 240p output? This looks great and something I'd want on my cabinet but 240/crt output usually needs a little massaging of the standard assets.

Never set my pi up on a CRT before.
