@dugo3number2 is only if Xbox Buttons are set, go with Playstation Buttons, at least for me.

Update: @Gremko It worked with PS buttons. @lilbud It is just the main menu that is affected.

@dugo3number2 I found the error, it is in the file letters.xml
/opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/themes/switch/settings/letters.xml

replace:
<path> ./../ assets / buttons / Xbox_Buttons_system.svg </ path>

with:
<Path> ./../ assets / buttons / Xbox_Buttons_System.svg </ path>

AFAIK, I don't think you can do a carousel for the gridlist on the default ES. I can set one row to show, but you can't have a scrolling carousel.
