I've been experimenting with adding a 360 controller as a 3rd controller to the 2-player bartop I built this summer. My intent with it is to use it to play some of the Mame games that can't work with a traditional 4/8-way joystick (Star Wars being my biggest hope, driving and flying type games also on the radar).

I'm pretty new at this, so stumbling my way through, but did get the 360 controller going as a third option, and got it recognized as the main controller in the Star Wars arcade game (the original Mame version). My trouble with that game is the calibration. The target isn't centered, the movement is too quick to offer any precision, the typical problems I've seen over the years with this. I'm a bit clueless about where to start in trying to adjust these settings and see if I can find a playable setting. Does anyone have any advice that can point me in the right direction?

      Thanks.

The BYOAC forum has a couple threads that I've found helpful:

        Thread: Configuring Analog Stick Games

Thread: Need Setting For Setting Up Star Wars Analog Controls
