I have my retropie hooked up to my sd NTCS TV (4:3) using composite out (3.5mm) I have been using sdmode=16 to get a nice stable picture with out jumps, but my image appears to be off every other line. I am guessing it is a hrtz issue? Maybe I am wrong

hey ironj, i'd like to point you in the right direction: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/18624/custom-configs-for-crt-using-the-built-in-composite-out

what model TV is it? as for the waviness on the sides, it's hard to tell from the photo but i think it's somewhat common. does it happen all the time or only when certain colors/brightness intensities are being displayed? try turning down the brightness from your TV menu, is it still noticeable? or maybe some capacitor is going bad and will need replacing..

either way, i think you'll get a much better picture using Sakitoshi's retropie-crt-tvout.

The jagity edge is on any straight line. Thanks so much for the link. I have been trying all sorts of things to get this to look good. Thanks so much. The lines show on front end or in game.
