First of all I’m a noob with the raspberry pi and have experience and some knowledge of computers. My goal is to play retro games form a dedicated console. I have the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. (retro gaming bundle) I now can play NES, SNES and Sega games. But i bought the thing especially to play Amiga games. But what hassle. At firts the Amiga games didn’t start. So after hours of searching on the internet (what a jungle) i have found out that I need the amiberry. So I installed the Amiberry (i think 2.18), the kickstart files etc. So now I can finally play ADF files, but only form the floppy panel. Not from the main menu. And it takes about 2 - 3 minutes before the games are loaded and I can play... Don’t know this is normal?

So after search more on the internet I found out it might be better to use WHDload, but I have to look into that later on. After that I probably need a vacation....

Can you play .zip files with WHDLoad? (.adf) Like I said earlier the internet is just a jungle.. some say it is possible, other say you must have .lha files.

My biggest problem for now is that i have a lot of IPF files. But how do i get this working . I do not understand the site that refers to it. https://github.com/midwan/amiberry/wiki/Enabling-IPF-support
So I hope you can help me out:

      1. ‘Go in the directory where you have cloned the amiberry sources’
      • How do you Clone the amiberry source? Where can I find the amiberry source
      1. ‘Go in the directory where you have cloned the amiberry sources, then type:: sudo apt-get install autoconf (if you don't have it already)’
      • Where do you type this? Is this in the ‘MSDOSprompt like program’ ?

      Thanks and Cheersz

      Roger
