DS4DRV no working Joysticks
-
So i got my DS4 controller hooked up via bluetooth and after it wasn't configuring or being recognized i went through the DS4DRV setup and that got i working and i was able to start configuring my controller. Only issue now is that i can't map my joysticks. I ran these commands listed in the Docs;
sudo wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/chrippa/ds4drv/master/udev/50-ds4drv.rules -O /etc/udev/rules.d/50-ds4drv.rules
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm triggerbut nothing happens and after a reboot i still cant use my joysticks, i also ran jstest /dev/input/js0, but all that did was spam my screen with non-stop updates of the controller.
would really appreciate some help here thanks.

UPDATE: i re did the setup with ds4drv and didn't use hidraw now it's configured just fine, but now its not working in games. i launched retroarch directly to try and map my controls there as well but the controller doesn't even work there so now im really confused to whats happening

Try using a USB keyboard in the retroarch menu. Assuming you know how to configure the controls make sure save configuration on exit is on, it's under configurations. You may need to configure the keyboard using retropie's own configuration but ii'm not sure.

@southblazia You don't need to install any additional drivers for a DS4, as soon as your pair it via Bluetooth it should be ready to be configured in ES. Please give more information about your setup as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
