      Greetings!

I am trying to find a solution where , lets say the start button on the gamepad acts as a timer start button.
One shall only be able to start games with this button and as soon that happens a small clock should show up on screen counting downwards. Lets say 5 Minutes. After that the emulation ends and returns to the main menu. Each press on the button rises up the time limit by 5 minutes.

Alternativley one could think about making the whole system unaccesible unless one presses the button and the timer is global so all games work unless the time ran out.

What i am trying to achive here is limiting the time my children can play on the machine. If they bring good grades i will hand them some arcade chips i bought at ebay and they get granted a gametime as reward. The button gets triggered by a coin slot device then.

I am new to retropie so maybe some of oyu might think about a solution there. Maybe a special script running ?
