      Hi
Just received my no brand (I got it off ebay) 3.5” display today. I plugged it into the gpio header and booted into RetroPie 4.4. I was going to download the drivers via the console (sorry if I’m using the wrong terminology I pressed f4 idk what it’s called) and I realised the guide I was going to follow was only for Raspian. Couldn’t really find anywhere that had a guide for RetroPie 4.4, just wondering if anyone can help with this.

      Thanks

Retropie is based on RaspbianLite, so you can use the instructions for Raspbian to install your screen drivers.

@mitu thanks! But I was also having a bit of trouble installing but just brushed it off because I thought the way I was installing it wasn’t correct when I typed git clone then the URL it would say fatal: unable to access (then the URL) could not resolve host: github.com

Wow I have bad luck, entered all the code correctly from this video “

while yes the display turns on my monitor still displays RetroPie instead of the lcd. How do I fix this?

                Thanks
