      hey guys,

Im trying to make a image for my self so i grabbed some sets
only thing is all the games are zipped files..
I looked at the retropie site the emulator does play zipped roms of this system BUT
inside the zipped game it has multiple files...
for example i got a game zipped but inside the zipped file theres a disk1,disk2 or theres different region of the same game..
      what do i do?
because all the sets ive got most of them zipped games has multiple files within them..

What emulator are you uploading to? Check on RetroPie to see if you need to unzip the files for that emulator (e.g. for PlayStation, yes) and if so, use WinRAR or 7-Zip to unzip the files and transfer it to your Pi.

@Nicky_S14 its not just one emulator tho its a few systems..
its commodore64,atari,and even snes and nes....
all my nes games are zipped but inside the zipped games lets say for example metroid.zip inside it will be something like
          metroid(U).nes and metroid(E).nes...
so does that mean i need to go through all the zipped roms and grab one file thats inside??
what if i try to run the zipped nes rom with multiple roms inside will it boot? lol
if not i have alot of work then going through a list of like thousand games :( and thats just one system any advise?

You can save a lot of time by finding ROM sets that aren't archived that way. The majority aren't. In fact, I don't believe I've ever seen anything other than the 'GoodTools' sets collected like that. Even then, I'm not sure if it's the normal practice.

You could unzip them to their own separate folders - so each game has it's own folder, then browse the folders and pick the game based on your region.
                  (U) is USA NTSC 60hz,
                  (E) is Europe PAL 50Hz,
                  (J) is Japanese NTSC 60hz.
Just pick the one you want, for each game, then (if space is a issue) zip it back up.
