      Hi all,

      Is there away to video recording when RPI start until its stop/shutdown? If possible any link/document for me to follow. Thanks

        I think you have to use an external recording device for this. Those sit between your monitor and RPi, catch the HDMI signal and record it. At the same time it copy and passes over to your monitor, so you can see what you play. If it is a good one, then it is lag free. The good thing is that you don't need to change any settings on the Pi itself and there is 0 performance difference while recording.

        I recently was able to do that. If you want, look into the second first answer of my thread at HD PVR Rocket recording. My setup have two different monitors and I switch between them if i record. There is an image to visualize the setup. You don't need to read the initial posting, as it did not work at the beginning.
