Where does Arcade folder store configs on which emulator for each game?
-
I recently bought a new micro sd which is larger than my old one. I want to transfer all my arcade games to the new micro sd card but there is one big problem. My arcade folder consists of hundreds of games and they use a variety of emulators to run, some games use FBA some use mame 2000 and some mame 2003.
How do I copy over the settings of which emulator opens which game to my new micro sd card. I've been trying to work this out for days but not getting anywhere at all, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@MikeLang How did you set the emulator for each game ? Did you use the Runcommand launch menu ?

When I load an arcade game I press a button to configure and then I select option 2 Select emulator for ROM. Some games only work on fbalpha and some only on mame 2003.

The emulator choice for a ROM is saved in
/opt/retropie/configs/all/emulators.cfg
, this is the file you need to transfer. Take a look at its contents and see if you recognize anything. -

Thank you, that is exactly what I have spent the last few days looking for. I've been looking in the rom folder and the config/arcade folder.
