universal xml scrapper problems

hey!

just downloaded some images for some of my retropie games, but unfortunately they won't show up in game selection for some reason.

he also created a new folder "config" on my USB drive https://imgur.com/a/pK0R8sO

maybe there's some folder / path issues where he can't find images?

@sleepdaddy The configs folder would never be on the USB stick if you use the automatic method of running the ROMs from the USB folder. You should try and point UXS to the config file share on the PI (\\retropie\configs).
You can manually copy the downloaded images folder (n64) to the \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\downloaded_images folder and also the gamelist.xml to the corresponding location (\\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\gamelists\n64), then restart Emulationstation and see if anything comes up.
If that doesn't work, try re-scraping again with the right config folder location (i.e. not on the USB stick).

So I have changed everything now and set up the raspberry pi via network (SSH), which was the better choice for sure. But the problem is now, when I try to connect the scraper to my Raspberry pi instead of my USB device, I get the following error message:

Everything is working fine through my network. What could it be?

@sleepdaddy Check the logs folder, there may be some indication there.Did you changed the password on the for the pi user ? Don't have a Windows system right now to check, sorry.

Hm, I don't think so. Password is still pi:raspberry as usual. I also tried direct IP instead of RETROPIE as host. Connecting via Putty or WINscp is working fine so far.

So the connection is not a problem, seems like it doesn't know which system it should scrape.
