@Swedishkiller12 How did you download them ? If you used a scraper, maybe you can tell it not to use marquees when it generates the gamelist for Emulationstation.

i have downloaded the optional scraper in the optional packages Number 830 on the list, i have disabled marquees and set the list to overwrite but the marquees will still be there. i have also deleted the gameslist (where the scapes are saved) and deleted and the reinstalled the scraper. all of the scrapes gets deleted, but when i rescrape the system even with the marquees disabled they still retur out of nowhere.

@Swedishkiller12 Try looking in \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\downloaded_images and see if any downloaded images have the marquee suffix. Remove them and check if they disappear also in Emulationstation. You can also try switching your theme, and use a theme that doesn't have marquee support.
