      Hi,

I built my first bartop with a retropie 4.4 this week (two Xin-Mo) and everything looks ok but not when I try to play the classic arcade games with the mame (lr-mame2000) emulator.

However, my understanding was always that the configuration in the "all" directory would be relevant for all other emulator if not otherwise mentioned. And by the way, this is also working for every emu except mame.

I also copied the input entries from the all directory into the retroarch.cfg in the mame directory (according to Wiki should be mame-libretro) but the buttons and the jostick are not working correctly. What do I wrong?

I'm still reading into the forum but currently I'm a little bit out of options.

Does anyone have an idea? And sorry, if that topic was already discussed. Still looking..:)

      regards,
      Foppa

@Foppa You shouldn't have to copy anything - you can just remap your inputs as you see fit with either the RetroArch GUI or pressing TAB on a keyboard while in game to use the MAME OSD for configuration.
That being said, lr-mame2000 is a very old release - suitable only for low powered PI models (0/1) - and you should try to use one of the arcade emulators recommended in the Arcade quick start.

Copied the files to the arcade folder and using emu 2003, everything is working fine now.

            thx,
