@mariobros_54 Are the roms listed in Emulationstation ? Then it means the transfer was ok.
-
Yes, but that's the first issue
-
Then maybe the ROMs are not correct - what kind of ROMs are we talking about - can you give some examples ?
-
Street fighter 2 series. The roms worked, before I deleted them from the usb
-
@mariobros_54 Which page from the docs did you use as a guide ?
-
Watched the video about transferring roms from usb. I did that. Today I deleted the roms that I uploaded to retropie. Then the roms wouldn't load, after I deleted roms from usb.
-
Did you, by any chance, changed emulators in the Runcommand menu ? Can you try with a non-arcade ROM and see if it still works after removing the USB from the Pi ?
-
I did change the emulator, on some, trying to get it to work. And I have only I non arcade rom that I uploaded.
-
@mariobros_54 Arcade ROMs are not 100% compatible between arcade emulators - you need to make sure you use the right ROM for the ROMset supported by the emulator. So your problem might be the ROM is not compatible with the emulator you're trying to run - see the Arcade quick start to get you started on how arcade emulation works.
-
@mariobros_54 Here are some links about Roms and Romsets. It may seem as a arcane art at first, but it follows strict rules that are not that complicated after you learned them.
-
-
@mariobros_54 Then check the ROM folders - are your files still there ?
-
@mariobros_54 As @mitu says. ES only displays a system that has roms in its rom directory.
