Rom file, thumbnail images

Hoping someone will know.
On an emulators selection screen, some games show a thumbnail image of the game and others don’t.
The two types of files are .iso and .bin.
The Rom files with no game image just show a ?, does anyone know how can I add an image to it?
Just want it to look nicer, the ROMs still work.
Hoping someone here will have the anwser.

My systems? The post is simply asking if there is a way to add an image to a .bin file to act as a thumbnail on a selection screen. It’s not a systems related post.
