Definitely not a rom-request, roms are easy to get, it is making RetroPie look nice that is the issue...

I was wondering - as the scraper doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment, if anyone has a full set of fba and Mame-libretro roms that they have scraped with the video files, game info etc.

As most people will probably set up their systems in the same way, with the files on an sd card, I would imagine rom names and file-paths would be identical for many people. If this is the case, some kind soul who has done all the hard work and has a gorgeous looking setup could perhaps upload their snap/flyer/gamelist.xml etc files somewhere for other poor saps like me who are having no luck scraping it all properly.

As I said, I am not after roms, I know that is not allowed, just the supplemental files that make the systems look nice.

Does anyone feel this is a feasible thing for someone to do, or am I missing something obvious?

@chubsta So, you are looking into RetroPie images, just without the roms? At least in my case there are some personal and unconventional changes, plus personal things like different gamepads and different video output, additional added data about romhacks etc.. I am not going to upload such an image file, but for you it shouldn't be a problem to scrape. We can assist you with the right settings for the scraper. You don't do much, it will automatically scrape everything.

This is just my experience: The built-in scraper wouldn't work for me so I installed Skyscraper through RetroPie (may be in experimental package list). Then I quit EmulationStation (press F4) and through the terminal ran "./RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh". Skyscraper exports some really nice game lists.

I'm going to give skyscraper a go now...

Skyscraper has just been updated to v3.0.3 adding some requirements to the APIv2 of the screenscraper module and also containing a workaround for slightly invalid XML being returned from the module. If you had bad results using the screenscraper module, please update to 3.0.3 and try again.

I must admit to being very impressed with skyscraper - after a few mishaps because I wasn't sure how to work it correctly I am now having far better results than I ever had with any other scrapers - top work!
