I just updated my stock clocked Raspberry Pi 3b+ to 4.4.7 and I'm having an issue with scraped artwork.

I've seen other posts that stated to select Detailed View or Video view to correct the artwork disappearing.

I can confirm that detailed view shows art and video view shows video.

My issue is that the video mode isn't showing the scraped art anymore before the video starts. I get a white screen, then the video plays.

I've seen no solution to this issue and no posts specifically about art not appearing before video snaps.

I've tried every view mode with no solution, and even updated my games list xml.

I built this image from a stock Retropie 4.4, and everything was working prior to this update.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Can you try to update the Emulationstation package (from binary) now and check if it's fixed ? The latest version is 2.8.1 which should have a fix for the problem you reported.

@mitu As soon as I get home from work I definitely will.

I'll let you know if it works.
