      So, i started this project as a gift for my brother and i really like it.
      In this week i'll try to cover the front holes(my buttons are too long so i can't put any in there) and put new buttons on the sides for pinball games.
      Also, i want to change the top table and set up the speakers.
      I have the buttons wired on the GPIOs.
      For the pinball buttons, how should i wired them? Can i set up new GPIOS buttons or i have to put them in the same GPIO that the front panel buttons?
      Sorry for the dust.

            nothing special, just came with te cabinet i bought. It was the only model with 8 buttons that they had so i took it.
            I'm from Argentina and there isn't many places to pick from.

                  Hello and welcome to this forum.

                  Your links to googleusercontent.com are useless to me, because the site just asks me to sign in, but I don't have a Google account.

                  Could you please upload the images either to the forum via the "Upload image" button or to one of the many image hosters everyone can access without an account, e.g. imgur.com?

                    @caradebalde I am always excited to see the work/progress of others, but as Clyde mentioned, your image links are not working. I suggest that you go back and edit your previous posts and upload images to the forum so we can all enjoy your references.

                      @Clyde @caver01 sorry guys, it's fixed now.

                      A little update of my process. Pinball buttons and speakers all set :)

                      4.jpg 5.jpg

                      Now i have to re-paint some spots, cover the holes i won't use and set a glass protecting the screen and covering all the wires.
                      And of course start with the art, probably i use stickers because i suck at painting and i don't like the plots i've found.

                        Already looks really promising, I'm looking forward to the finished thing.

                        Like @Superman550, I wonder about the buttons. Isn't there too little space to rest your hand on if your fingers lay on the top row of the buttons? It looks like the bottom row of two buttons is where normally the palm of your hand would be resting.

                          @Clyde Not really.
                          My layout is this:
                          Y S L
                          B X R
                          A H

                          With the games i've played i didn't find any difficulty. Maybe in a future.

                            @caradebalde Would it be too much to ask for a picture of your hand resting on the controls? Just really curious. 😇

                            What are S and H standing for?

                                @caradebalde Thanks. Okay, so your palm isn't resting fully on the panel. That may put a strain on your hand with prolonged playing, but as you said, you'll have to wait and see.

                                  Anyway i don't spend that much playing.

                                    So, i was checking on the recalbox manager and i saw that my temperature was about 55 celsius.
                                    Is that okay or should i set a fan?

                                        @caradebalde The Pi will display a little thermometer at the upper right of the screen when it gets too hot. As long as this doesn't happen, the temperature should be fine.
