Skyscraper advice needed please

I have recently discovered Skyscraper and am very impressed but still have a few issues which I am unsure about...

Often when I run a scrape on a romset, for instance master system, I do it via screenscraper and the one I have just done has found 11 matches out of 344 - not a good return! So I do it again, it of course grabs the results from the cache but also finds some more. When I did this earlier with GB rom it took four runs and I still was missing a dozen or so but out of 800 odd so I figure that is a great result.

Any tips on increasing the success rate per scan - I can't work out why a rom it doesn't identify the first time it finds the next? Also, would I be better off varying the sources - for instance I had almost zero results for fba from screenscraper then much better from a single pass on arcadedb - do people scan screenscraper, then arcadedb, then retro etc? I have read about the % match in the docs but it seems more a case the it does find the match eventually just not first time...

Also, although I have tried to understand the docs and read as much of the main thread as I can I am still unsure if I can set it up to automate the multiple scans - it says pass1 on the terminal so I guess I should be able to get it to do pass 2 or 3 somehow? I have looked at the config.ini example but cannot seem to find a .skyscraper folder on my pi.
