Skyscraper builds the caches fine, I can switch sources and rerun. Once I'm satisfied with the results I generate the gamelist and then run the local. After I reboot I do not have any of the new data. The ROMs still show the box art and description that was scraped with selph's scraper.

How do I dump the previous data and have the results from Skyscraper show? I'm running Skyscaper through the menu option not command line.

      Thanks!

Pi Model or other hardware: B+
Power Supply used: (If using a Pi)
      RetroPie Version Used 4.4
Built From: Pre made for pi

@bullethead If you previously ran the scraper with the option to generate the gamelist in the ROMs folder, you'll have to use the same option when using Skyscraper also.
Take a look in the docs to see where the Gamelist file is generated - I think ES reads the gamelist from the ROMs folder (where scraper generated it), while Skyscraper has generated the gamelist.xml in the ~/.emulationstation/gamelists/... and the former always has priority.

          Thanks for the response.

I looked at the docs and figured that the previous metadata from scraper was still populating the gamelist. It's not being overwritten by Skyscraper, even the ROM details.

I had used the ROM folder setting with scraper but deleted the images folders in the ROMS folder as I was using video clips but wanted to simplify and gain back 10gb of storage for more ROMS.

So as I'm liking the Skyscraper info better my plan is to delete the previous gamelist and generate a new one with Skyscraper. Thoughts?
