Slow my splash screen time

Everyone wants to speed things up, but I want the opposite on my splash screen. I currently get about 11 seconds before it goes black and then decides on showing Emulation Station or not before I see my Retropie theme. I'd really like it to take about 30ish seconds because of the different splash screen videos I've seen. Is this possible with the 3 B+ or do I just need to find shorter ones that I enjoy?

Try to edit manually the autostart script and add a delay before Emulationstation starts - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/FAQ/#how-do-i-boot-to-the-desktop-or-kodi - so it looks like:
sleep 20 emulationstation #auto -
