CLRMame but Roms failing to load
-
Hey boys, I CLRMame'd my entire lr-Mame2003 roms yet a good chunk of games are still failing to load. (gets black screen then back to the games menu). Any way to fix this?
-
can you post the contents of /tmp/runcommand.log after a fail? do you have the entire set on your pi? if it's a split set it will parent roms to be present for their clones to run.
-
The entire set is on my pi3 yea but I also keep a backup of all my verified roms in their respective folders on my network. I'll run a few of the failed roms and copy that .log and report back.

You may also want to check the compatibilty list:

direct: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IRSmFrSDvIc6gAw0gn12TcQ3HDOwmrETTor8wvvb7VI/edit?usp=sharingThis way you can see if others have made the same game work with lr-mame-2003

Yea, I'm seeing incomplete file errors:
blitz.chd NOT FOUND
ERROR: required files are missing, the game cannot be run. -
you need a valid blitz.chd in
/roms/mame-libretro/blitz/
, or/roms/arcade/blitz/
if you use the arcade folder.chds often aren't in romsets, but they are required for games that need them.
-
No I hear you guys. I basically just tor rented a gang of different .78 roms all into 1 folder, then ran em through CLR crossing my fingers... I guess this is what happens sometimes!

I have a valid blitz.chd file however in my /roms/mame-libretro directory are all the .zip roms. Do I need to create a /blitz directory in there?

@TheGooch that's what I said, yes ;)
