      In case someone missed it, I have now created a working scriptmodule for Caesar III and shared it in its's own topic. So that source port can now be marked as available.

      I'm already working on the next script module for a source port that will be a big surprise. (hint: it's based on ioquake 3.) :-)

          @retropi19 Why would you want openarena when you can just install Quake 3 from RetroPie setup?

              @retropi19 I see your point. Well i have not tried openarena, so i can not say if it works or not. Maybe some other people here have tried it. :-)

                      @retropi19 Good work. The more the better. As long as we can keep on bringing more source ports, it will benefit the RetroPie project and expand the possibilities. Could you perhaps share your work?

                      My way of doing this is:

                        1. Follow instructions from developers site/repo and make sure dependencies requirements are met.
                        1. Download from source and try to compile into making a working binary.
                        1. Testing and deciding if the source port is good enough for RetroPie project.
                        1. Create a working scriptmodule. Test the scriptmodule and make sure it complies with RetroPie setup.
                        1. Create github repository and upload scriptmodule, screenshots and other information.
                        1. Create topic on RetroPie for the selected source port and share it with the RetroPie community.

                                  @retropi19 That is some good progress.

                                  Are you going to fork and create a pull request at the RetroPie Setip Git repo for all these ports scriptmodules?

                                  Dune Legacy is one of the source ports im trying to get to work with building a scriptmodule for. Did you happen to fix the flickering in-game screen?

                                      @retropi19 Actually the flickering is very possible to fix. It is simple as changing one line for SDL renderer.

                                      I have already figured it out and fixed it by that same link, but i do not have my Pi with me at the moment. I would also like to test your Dune Legacy scriptmodule. :-)

                                          @retropi19 The file that you are looking for should be the Game.cpp which is located in the src folder.
                                          File path: ./src/Game.cpp

                                          The line that you want to change is the SDL_RenderPresent(renderer);

                                          Change it to the following and save the Game.cpp file.

                                          //SDL_RenderPresent(renderer);

                                          Compile Dune Legacy again from source and you should have a working binary without the flickering in-game.

                                          Urban Terror brings me good memories. I tried using Quake3 and Urban Terror as a mod with only getting into the menu without working gameplay. It might be possible to compile Urban Terror as a standalone game.
