Coin/credit issue on mame.

Having a small issue in mane. When I press the select button (coin), I am getting anywhere from 2 to 8 credits on some games. This can be a hassle on games like rampage ect. Retroarch settings are right: 1coin/1 credit. Sometimes I can manipulate by changing to 3 coins/1 credit...ect. Any suggestions? Thanks

@anmag70 does you controller have a turbo button that might be on by accident? Or perhaps the select button on your controller is malfunctioning?

@quicksilver no turbo button. Generic xbox360 controller. Its possible its time for a new controller.
Having this issue in mame only and in certain games. -
@anmag70 Is your hotkey button also select?
