@zyul81 Run from the command line

        cd $HOME/RetroPie-Setup
        git pull
sudo apt install -y --reinstall lsb-release

and then try again. I guess some files are corrupted on disk.

@mitu after typing git pull it shows an error " cannot lock 'refs/remotes/origin/master': unable to resolve reference ' refs/remotes/origin/master' : reference broken

Can you try cloning again the RetroPie repo and see if you get any error:

            cd $HOME
            git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-setup rp.test

I think your installation is corrupted - the system installation utilities are not working and you'll not be able to fix it doesn't look like you can install anything on it. I'd say to save your ROMs and configs - via file shares - and reinstall.

@xgamer020 Please open a separate topic and describe your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
If you experience the same symptoms as in the current topic, then I'm afraid that the advice would be similar - backup and re-image.
