I have searched and read, and contacted raph, but am unable to patch the latest kernel to fix the northwest issue.

      I found this: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/4516/how-to-apply-raphnet-kernel-patch-to-fix-northwest-drift

But the patches are outdated on here: https://www.raphnet-tech.com/support/retropie/index.php

I contacted raph and he said the patches need to be updated, but I am wondering if anyone else knows another way, or knows how to manually update the patches to apply to the newest kernel. I am completely unfamiliar with .diff patches and their contents. I don't know if the .diff is the patch, or if it downloads a patch. I have experience with android and know what a kernel is, but I have never built one.

Is there another way to stop the extra controllers from dropping their values, or at least giving them a default value?
