Unable to boot system (Using different SD Cards)

@mitu Yes, I've tried both Retropie and the Raspbian, issues with both.
I've done about a dozen SD cards for systems beforehand (they've all been for Raspberry Pi 3's) and I used Win32DiskImager, and never had an issue. This is the first Zero W I've worked with and the first time I've used Etcher, and now I'm getting fails on several SD cards.

@Zerphane the problem seems to be hw related, make sure you have a proper power source, I don't think the card is at fault.

@mitu Power Source is as listed in my first post, it's the same one I use to power the Raspberry Pi 3's, I used this supply to build a RetroPie unit on a Raspberry Pi 3 two days ago.

rofl, here is your problem ... you cannot boot the image from a pi 3 in a pi zero

@Halvhjearne I'm very well aware of that, hence why I'm using the Pi 0/1 version. I said I used the power supply of the Raspberry Pi 3. I'm using a fresh SD Card + the retropie-4.5.1-rpi1_zero.img file and tried Noobs as well.

this is the first time in this thread, that you mention using the pi zero image ... perhaps check again, if you used the correct image?

@Halvhjearne Sorry I thought I did say I was using the Zero W version of the build.
I've download - retropie-4.5.1-rpi1_zero.img which is what is downloaded when I choose the Pi 0/1 option on the Retropie site.
I've also tried Noobs and Raspbian, they all fail when trying to use the Zero W.

I decided to try both cards using a Raspberry Pi 2/3 Build in my Raspberry Pi 3.. and the cards boot up fine, which leads me to believe it's a hardware issue. Anything else I should try or check before I return the unit to the store?

np, i was just pointing out, that it was a very likely, judging from that sentence only

it is also possible that this is a hardware failure, if you tested with multiple sd cards.

before discarding it tho, i would def try and give the board a good cleanup, to see if you can bring it back to life.

@Halvhjearne Well this is a brand new product (Bought it yesterday), I'm thinking of just getting a replacement from the company.

Turns out it was the unit itself, I got a replacement and it worked right away.
