So I have not updated my retropie in a while cause i though i have pretty much all I needed but the thing is i decided to add some rooms and wanted to manualy scrape them but the emulation scrapper its not working, is there any way to fix it??? Is ot ok if I just update? Will the main emulationstation scrapper work after the update???

I don't think it will work, unless you update to Raspbian Stretch, the older versions are based off Raspbian Jessie and they're no longer supported. Updating Emulationstation will not bring you the latest version - with the new scraper(s) version.

@mitu man im screwed... does this also affects selph scrapper, i try scrapping new roms, it said it did but when I check nothing was done, also... is there any other way to scrape a single rom instead of the whole bunch? Do scrapper usually overwrite other images???

It shouldn't affect the external scrapers, those should work - but keep in mind that SSelph's scraper doesn't work with the TGDB source since they changed their API.

also... is there any other way to scrape a single rom instead of the whole bunch?

I think SSelph's scraper has an option to keep or skip already scraped games, so only new games are scraped. For other external scrapers, there are workarounds.

Do scrapper usually overwrite other images???

Which scraper are we talking about ?

Hey @nestor1924 , I’m not sure if you noticed, but it’s “scraper” not “scrapper”. These helpful little apps “scrape” the internet for images/video/metadata. I know, is seems like scrap-booking, pulling all of the media together, but I thought you might appreciate the difference, not that it really matters. I guess it’s a pet peeve of mine which is obviously my problem, not yours. Anyway, it might help doing research too, to avoid misspellings in a search.
