Hi guys, I just got my
VENTION 3.5mm External USB Sound Card, in order to increase the audio quality (instead of using 3.5 jack) and to get rid of the annoying hissing sound. I seem to notice the increase in quality, but I still hear the hissing sound. What can I do? And have anyone else experienced similar problems

@RpiBeginner could be a bad USB sound card or a noisy amp in your speaker system

This particular sound card was recommended by another user, who has the same sound card and amp, so it shouldn't be as simple as that.

@RpiBeginner Can you test the usb card and the amplifier with other devices to rule out that one of them is responsible? Even if these models are recommended, yours could be defective.

@RpiBeginner Excuse me, do you mean that the hiss was or wasn't there on your PC, too?

@RpiBeginner Thank you. English isn't my native language and I wasn't sure if you meant "[A while ago] I tested it with my pc [and there was no hiss], and [now on the Raspberry Pi] the hiss is still there". :)

So it may very well be that the usb card is faulty or just not very good.
