Cd32 Cue files resolution issues
-
When using amiga cd32 cue files for launching games the resolutions are not good sometimes screen not fitting e.g. Sensible soccer, lost vikings etc even when changing display settings finding it hard to get right.
Issues mostly missing left part of screen or top.
Im using latest source and tried binary previously. Also other friends who use amiberry under retropie having similar issue.
Has anybody got a fix for this as I prefer to use proper cue files for amiga cd32 games as I find these versions superior to lha they support the controller in games better.
If their is some config fix for the games I would try anything.
With lha files the resolutions are fine
Many thanks.

I have also noticed this. I don't have a fix.
Could I ask in what format you keep your CD32 games?

Thanks for reply.
Bin format.
It would be so great for a fix for this.
I noticed on some old posts searching the forums there was a similar issue before.
I've done the obvious things updated to latest amiberry and updated the xml etc
I talk to other gamers who use retropie and they all seem to have same issue.
Ive tried all the height width etc settings but can't get it working as should.
And as above with amiga 500 or 1200 games no problems with resolutions using lha files those games look great. Correct resolutions are displayed.
Just when using proper cue bin files and loading with the amiga cd32 logo screen this is what gives the issues, some games are playable even if resolution is off just some are not as part of screen can't be seen.
Thanks

Interesting. I've been converting CUE/ISO/WAV files to CUE/BINs with limited success. How do you convert yours?
Can the screen be fixed in game with the emulator settings? I will try later tonight.
Thanks

It can be made playable but not displayed correctly. If you try same game on lha files they display perfect.
Similar bin, cue, wav
