Minimize games selection with removing them from sd card

Is there a way to make a custom games available screen that only allows access to certain games without removing all the games from the sd card? Or even only allow certain emulators and also limit games?

@mitu I read that link an I understand some of it. Mainly because I have a few questions.

1. Would it be easier if I have a couple thousand games to just pick the few I want available as kids games then switch to "kidgame" mode?

2. Can I make a new collection and fill it with those games tagged as kid games and then have only that single collection show up when in "kidgame" mode? Even if they are for different emulators?

it can be done maybe by writing a little statement in the files
creating a new system then in one of the files creating a if statement.

Yes, this is how Kid mode works.

No, the systems from which the game are picked will also be shown.
