Pi2 Lightning Bolt
-
I'm running retropie on a pi 2, with a wifi adapter and a Xbox 369 wireless adapter. I'm getting the lighting bolt playing snes games. The power supply I'm using is the one that came with my official pi2 kit from MCM electronics, before they became Newark. I've always noticed it, but never this bad. Not sure exactly what to do. Usually it's a power supply issue but this is the official one.
Any ideas?

@jediknight36 The lightning bolt is definitely a voltage issue. Do you get the lightning bolt if you unplug the Xbox adapter and wifi adapter? Is it the official Raspberry Pi power supply or just the power supply that came with the kit? Sometimes kits come with unofficial power supplies.

@jediknight36 Replace the power supply. I've had a $5 chinese power supply for my pi2 give me the lightning bolt like 1-2years later. Opening it up, they used very thin wires that just gave out from the thinness and poor solder job. Replaced them with thicker ones and all's good. Zero issues with my official pi power supplies.
