Chaps, I notice when I try and run some games in Mame2010 it opens up the Retroarch congig page. Is there a reason for this?

Also, has anyone managed to successfully get Demon Front to run in any emulator?

Any help would be wicked, thanks.

I havent tried yet, but Demon Front should work fine with any emulator that supports a set no earlier than .103u2 (The link also shows this needs a BIOS file)

So for example, that would include Advance MAME 1.4 or any of the FBAs

mame2010 does that when it can't load your rom (most likely because it is the wrong rom for 2010, or missing a parent, that sort of thing).

but, mame2010 is an experimental core so you probably shouldn't be using it unless you have a good reason. demon front works in lr-fba-next

Thanks Chaps, probably stick using Mame2003 for my Mame needs. I've tried lr-fba-next with no luck. I'll have a search for another Demon Front rom, thanks again.

Getting no luck with any of the FBA emulators. I've tried a few versions of the rom too with no luck. Does this game require a bios file per chance?

@Mamemeister No need to try different versions of the rom, you can see the required version here, and also the process showing how to verify your roms:
                  https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Managing-ROMs

Also, the video on that page should explain how mame roms work.

yes. pgm.zip. all required BIOS will be in a verified set.
