I updated some of the bezels on my Retroarch Overlay Pack #1. I do this behind the scenes. So you might download the pack again every so often and notice some changes to certain bezels. You'll know which ones were updated by the date next to each file.

These are fantastic! Well done. I've setup Donkey Kong and Pacman so far on a 24 inch 1920 X1080 screen where they look very realistic and become much more like looking at a real arcade machine (even with screen reflections) plus they remove that dull blackness on these vertical games. But I don't want the actual game screen to look too small though so scale them to 1.12 (and 1.50 on the latest versions) with the game ratio set to 3:4.
I simply copied my fave png of yours, edited the name in the .cfg file and put them in a named folder eg) dkong, then copied them to \configs\all\retroarch\overlay. Then set that folder in the overlay options from the Retroarch Menu. Somebody suggested this early in the thread in case anybody missed it.
Could you possibly package a download of every Overlay you've made please?

Thanks so much @Steve I appreciate the kind words and support. Great idea on that edit.

@Orionsangel Very beautiful! I don't want to nag, but you really should think about a Github repo for easy and lasting access to all of your work. 🧐
-
@Clyde That's fine. I joined but when I went to upload my bezel packs it said the files were too large and I got a bit disillusioned. How does Github work exactly?

@Orionsangel Really nice, as usual.
Don't know why you got problems with github; I have my repo there with hundres of overlays and never had issues. Are you putting each overlay in its own folder ?Do you have a high res scan of the original Colony7 bezel ?
-
@UDb23 No, I tried to upload the entire pack in a zip file.
-
@Orionsangel That's why; that single file is too big.

That's not the way you do it on Github. One of Githubs strentghs is to only download or upload changed files, that isn't possible with a single zip file. Just look at other people's repositories to get a feeling for how they're organized, e.g. @svera's https://github.com/svera/vertical-bezels-4-3 that I also contribute to.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
