Guys, can somebody please help me.
I bought this 128GB sd-card on ebay. I need to clone it.

      1. I have sucsessfully read it with Win32 Img. Its now a file on my desktop.

      2. I use same size card and I sucsessfully write it back to empty formated SD-card with the same program.

I put the cloned SD into my Raspberry 3 B and the screen is black. No rasp logo, nothing. No picture. I have the red powerlight on. I have also tried three other raspberries, same problem.

Can this guy on amason have put in a code or something to prevent it from cloning? I just dont get it.

      Please, any advises??

You'll have to ask him/her about that, we don't support 3rd party images, especially the ones loaded with ROMs. Note that the RetroPie image license is non-commercial, so selling it (preloaded with ROMs or not) is against the license.

You didn't have to buy it at all, you can download a retropie install from this site (click on the red Retropie logo joystick in the upper left)that you can image onto an SD card for free! There is also a thread in General Discussion and Gaming about where to find legally downloadable content for free too.

System Config: Retropie 4.4 with full desktop, RPi 3B, 256gb SD, 5v 2.1A 5,200 mAH USB battery. EasyMSX controller mounted with Pimoroni Hyperpixel 4 (non touch). Also running 4.6 on a 4gb Pi 4 serving as my primary desktop computer now.

Use balenaEtcher to write it back to the empty SD card. Maybe this will help.

SD card IDs can be paired with your Pi's processor ID so that both will need to match to function. Microsoft has a free VolumeID download you can use after copying the image onto the new card to change the new card's ID to that of the old card. HOWEVER, it is also possible that when you first booted the old card on your Pi, it paired your processor ID to that card and the image won't work in another Pi even if you DO change the SD card Volume ID.

You are better off downloading and installing the FREE Retropie image from here onto the new SD card to avoid whatever spyware, malware, improperly licensed system software, etc., that are probably there with the old card then transferring whatever ROMs you happen to have onto that install.
