      Raspberry Pi 3B
Retropi v4.5.1 (Prebuilt from site download, updated to latest via system)
      Vilros 2.5A PSU

Just a couple quick things I need help
I am trying to add a new core I got from Liberto's website (the slow PC-FX engine) and I keep getting this error
      c1cf4230-9c11-4352-b4e5-2e53923061b8-image.png
      In windows SCP

Where do I find the privileges to grant me access so I can make a new folder for the new cores?

The other is a sound issue with PS1 Games where the music begins to degrade and repeat as if it were a record needle skipping a track
It is most evident when playing games like Pepsiman (2nd level) using lr-pcsx-rearmed
Anyone know how to fix this?

      This is what I hear

(Also for some reason I suck at this part, unlike the rest of the game)

This is what it's supposed to sound like (Skip to 6:15)

      Thank you for all support!

Just copy the file to your home folder (/home/pi) and then use the command line and sudo to create a new folder and copy the file to the new location.

If you're trying to copy the lr-beetle-supergrafx core, that's already part of RetroPie and it's installed by default.

Apart from making sure you're using a correct disc image, try toggling the FPS counter and see if it's fullspeed. Sound skipping issues usually indicate that emulation is not full speed.

No, I'm trying to add Lr-Beetle-PCE since Lr-Beetle-PCE-Fast has issues with certain games, such as Exile

So I was trying to add Lr-beetle-pce through FTP, but when I go into the /opt/retropie/libretrocores/ it won't let me add folds and I am honestly so out of practice with unix command line, that I wouldn't know where to start.

I can add files to other directories, just not that one.

This was a suggestion from DarkSaviour on my old post https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/22099/having-weird-issues-with-turbo-cd-pce-cd-games/22?_=1580976635504

I decided it's finally time to sit down and fix the issues now that I have multiple complete archives to add to the Retro-Pie

I'll check the frame rate in a bit, adding a few updated collections to my system right now.

@Jiryn You need to login as a root.

I also requested lr-beetle-pce to be added to retropie.

Thank you so much on both counts DS!

Testing the frame rate, stayed a steady 60fps..
No clue where the sound issue is coming from but it's always done it with this game..
