I'm using the Alan-1 repro yoke with usb adaptor on a pi 3B+ running the latest version of retropie and am having issues getting the yoke to function or in some cases even recognized in the various mame cores. Some cores see the yoke and some don't.  Unfortunately the ones that do have performance issues rendering the game unplayable for one reason or another. I seem to have Paperboy and Return of the Jedi up and running properly so I know the yoke works fine. Can anyone give me some help getting this working on the following games?

Hydra, Firefox, Spy Hunter, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Roadblasters, Terminator 2, Revolution X, Operation Wolf, Operation Thunderbolt & S.T.U.N. Runner

I've tried pretty much all the mame cores available in retropie and have had little to no success getting these games setup properly. The cores I've tried are advmame, advmame .094, advmame 1.4, 2000, 2003, 2003 plus, 2010, 2015 & 2016

I know a couple of the games, Roadblasters for instance use digital not analog but I know it's possible to rig it to make it work, just need some direction.

@UnknownMK I'm using an Alan-1 repro yoke and adapter with a Pi3B+. I'm successfully running Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back at 100%, no slowdown or audio issues using Advmame 3.9. My biggest problem was the 'deadzone' but with some help I eventually managed to get rid of it. Have a look at my other posts for some pointers. One thing though that I'd recommend is to flash the adapter with the latest firmware available on the Alan-1 page. Use the 'windows' version as this has no deadzone, the Linux/Retropie version has 10% built in.

I'm having issues with Return of the Jedi, it was dropping frames and tearing on Advmame 3.9 so I'm experimenting with mame2003 and mame2003-plus for that. I haven't tried any of the other titles you mentioned although a fellow user @wstanek has.
