Hi guys. First post. I set up my emulationstation so it can play music in the background (see [link text]Quick and Easy Guide for Adding Music to Emulationstation see Quick and Easy Guide for Adding Music to Emulationstation and wanted to run videos as well, but without conflict between background music and sounds from videos. So I decided to try using gif files instead (Google images), converting them to mp4s (Google "online GIF to MP4" for free options). The result, besides having a playable video without audio, is a major reduction in video size. Most under 500 kb and some even under 100 kb - which takes up so much less space on my SD card. Just thought I'd let you all know.
