      Hi everyone,

Is there a way to have the Retropie populate generic game media for those games (homebrew) that do not scrape or populate with the scrapers?

Is it possible to do this without modifying XML files manually? individually?

Any scripts that would achieve this task for all roms with absent media?

      Thanks in advance.

EmulationStation has an option to look for matching image and video files - it's called 'Search for Local Art' (in the Other Settings sub-menu). Basically it checks if romname-image.png or romname-video.mp4 exists on disk, alongside the ROM file, and uses it to display an image/video for the ROM.

Alternatively, you could edit the gamelist.xml files using an application like ARRM and add the image/video/metadata to your gamelist(s).

          Hi @ratedrguy
As @mitu said, you could try ARRM, and its 'MixMe' feature : http://jujuvincebros.fr/wiki/arrm/doku.php?id=mixme_en

ARRM (Roms Manager, Scraper for Recalbox, Batocera, Retropie, ES...) : http://jujuvincebros.fr/telechargements2/file/10-arrm-another-recalbox-roms-manager

Fantastic! Thank you to both of you for your responses.

AARM is a great tool! Exactly what I was looking for.
