      Greetings,
I have exhausted google and tips/tricks. Hopefully someone can help me

I am running a retropi img file i found online and everything runs fine with emulators. But i can't seem to get my Dualshock (3) to map "Right Trigger". It just hangs a second and moves to the next one saying "Not Defined"

If i plug in my DualShock 4, it all maps and works fine

Steps i have taken to try to solve it

      • Use a keyboard to arrow back up after all other inputs are mapped and try again (suggested by multiple online posts)

      • Run Jstest to see if it recognizes the Right Trigger button on the controller and what button it is set to. It detects the Right trigger fine as button "7"

      • Deleted all input configs and tried again

      • Re-imaged the SD card again just to make sure

This controller works FINE on my other SD card retro-pie setups.

@JJRambo you are using a downloaded 3rd party image. These are not supported here.
Two ways possible: ask the uploader/creator of your image (he should know whats on it) or download and install the official image here

Yes it is a 3rd party.
This it the first time i have tried one and apparently it sucks. Anyone i can go to ask this question besides the creator?

@JJRambo the point is that only the creator knows what is in his creation.
This concerns all kind of things, not only a retropie-image.
So i have no idea who you could ask to get a really good answer.
You could ask people somewhere else what they are guessing.....but in usual it does not help.
