Hi guys. The last topic I posted was on me attempting to get my games to launch. @mitu helped me fix it with a firmware update. (Thanks.) Now everything works except for DOOM and some other ports. Can someone help me start it up?

      Pi: 4B 1GB
      Setup: Manual install (master)
USB Devices: Logitech F310, AmazonBasics mouse
SD Card: 32 GB SanDisk C10 UHS (I switched)

      HOME CONSOLE
      Pi 4
      SanDisk 64 GB
      Master branch install
      3.5 amp CanaKit PSU
Logitech F310, Dell keyboard, Dell mouse, JetFlash Transcend 16 GB USB stick
      HANDHELD
      Pi 0 W
      SanDisk 32 GB
Random image I found. Had a driver I needed.

@IceChes1 step one install lr-prboom through RetroPie setup.

        Step two play doom :)

If you want the full version you'll need to put doom.wad in your doom folder and change your doom.sh to point to it. If you want music you'll need to add the soundtrack mp3s as well.

        This is all documented here:

My problem is more of a visual one. I have Cave Story and VVVVVV installed, and they run fine, no issues, but the PROBLEM is that there are two entries for Cave Story under the Ports menu. One is for Cave Story.sh, the shell script file, and the folder you're supposed to make in /ports, 'CaveStory' that holds the Doukutsu.exe and data folder. So my Ports menu looks like:

            Cave Story (the Shell Script)
CaveStory (the Folder containing the game data)
            VVVVVV

How do I remove or hide one of those, so that it doesn't show up in ES?

I followed the instructions on this page (https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Cave-Story)
exactly, the same directories it tells me,
and yet I still have two entries. Why are
              these installation pages so barebones?
Why not have an FAQ error section below
the instructions, so people can see common
              errors other people have.

1st off the documentation is community maintained, it's nobody's job to update it. Or maybe I should I say it's all of our jobs to update it.

2nd, why do you assume that the issue you have is a common error?

3rd why are you hijacking someone else's thread?
