I've been playing around with Amiberry again on my Pi4 and I have run into a problem.

Amiberry is putting my PS3 pad in port 1 instead of port 0. It is easy to change this over in the settings but I'm not sure which file saves this information so that it is picked up for every CD32 game I play.

      Current config.

      Port 0 = Retroarch Keyboard as Joystick - CD32
      Port 1 = Playstation 3 Controller - CD32
      Port 2 = None
      Port 3 = None

      Can anyone advise?

      Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
      ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

On further investigation a number of CD32 game have this issue, sometimes requiring port 1 and sometimes port 0. Individual settings files looks like the solution.

Generally CD32 games like a CD32 pad in port 1. The following games are exceptions:

Fire + Ice CD32. Needs a joystick (not a pad) in port 1.
Seek and Destroy CD32. Needs a CD32 pad in port 0.

        Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
        ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)
