How to replicate the problem=Scrape games with SkyscraperHi Guys,
I have been using scyscraper with no problem until recently when I got the above message every time I scrape games. I tried to follow the instructions and made an account on https://www.screenscraper.fr/ and added my login to ~/.skyscraper/config.ini, 'usercreds=[user:password]'.
The problem is that I still cannot scrape games and I do not know why even though I added my login info. -
Simply creating an account doesn't do it alone, you have to either contribute to the database or donate funds (I think they use patreon but it's on the site) to open more threads and get priority. I'm fairly certain they are experiencing a lot more volume than they ever have.

Well according to my account I can scrape 20K in 1 day.
I 1st noticed this when I tried scraping my newly added PSX collection.

@Griggle788 their servers might be overburdened or there are more active users
-
@simpleethat make sure you enter the username and password in config.ini
don't make spaces or anything just ' : ' between the user name and password
also i think their server have a problems right now or overburdened so try to scrap latter or use a commend line to test#!/bin/bash Skyscraper -p saturn -i /home/azazel/.emulationstation/roms/saturn/ -m 75 --videos --unattend --cache refresh -s screenscraper -u username:password Skyscraper -p saturn -i /home/azazel/.emulationstation/roms/saturn/ -m 75 --videos --unattend --cache refresh -s thegamesdb Skyscraper -p saturn -f emulationstation -i /home/azazel/.emulationstation/roms/saturn/ -a ~/Documents/skyscraper/artwork.xml -m 75 --videos --unattendskip -g /home/azazel/.emulationstation/roms/saturn/ -o /home/azazel/.emulationstation/roms/saturn/media/ --nobrackets --nohints
Just change the commend to your paths
-
Ok Great!
I will try that tonight and will let you all know. -

So I tried again like the example you gave and this time I did not get the above error message, but I am not getting Videos, Covers, Screenshots, Wheels, or Marquees.
I typed in this in
Skyscraper -p psx --videos --unattend --cache refresh -s screenscraper -u username:passwordOf course I did not include my user and password.

@Griggle788 yeah , that's because servers is so overwelming now , it happines for me too , so now you have a fourm to right the skyscraper commend without errors , now it a matter of time to fix servers

@Mr-Berlin
O well.
Thank you for the help.
I guess for now I will download my content manually till screenscraper works again.
