@ByteThis it's definitely not the scraper. When i'm connected to the internet it runs great. But my pi won't stay connected longer than like 15 minutes. I was told to disable ipv6. Which I thought I did...But I got kicked off again. Reinstalling.
@scousetrooper In this case, the disc usage might come from Skyscraper's cache. Try moving the cache from $HOME/.skyscraper/cache to your disc - besides moving the actual folder, you'll have to amend $HOME/.skyscraper/config.ini to point it to the new location - see https://github.com/muldjord/skyscraper/blob/master/docs/CONFIGINI.md.
arcadedb provided a video, but why are we only getting the audio of the video? I have other systems with videos and images, the image will show and then the video will play just fine. So it isn't in the theme? What could be causing this? HELP!
Sorry for the spotty details, wasn't sure if there was a quick and easy fix for this thing.
There isn't, the message is just a parsing error, indicating that the scraper site hasn't responded with a well formed XML message. It's because - at the moment - scraping from ScreenScraper doesn't work for un-registered users. You'll have to use an external scraper (see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Scraper/) that supports scraping with a registered account or scrapes from a different source.
@MisterMints This corresponds to 4.4.4 - you should have skyscraper as a module in the experimental packages section. Did you also update the packages ?
I did, but still "no game found"
This happens whether I go via the scraper option from pressing start and doing it on a system by system basis, or edit this games meta data on individual ROMs.
I have go sselph and skyscraper working now so it's no big issue and they both seem to be very accurate so far
@dakiluxa Remove the /opt/retropie/supplementary/golang folder and re-try the scraper installation, it should re-install the Go version used by RetroPie. I've seen this kind of errors, due to a mis-installation (or corrupted install) of the Golang package.
@UDb23 Yes, this way if you use the scrape all option within the ES scraper it will skip it automatically. This is the boxart available on thegamesdb.net site.
