      Hello Guys,

      i have a huge problem with my rasp4 b.
      Yesterday i installed the newest image of retropie. After that i plugged it in on my 4k LG TV with a Micro-HDMI cable.
      All works fine, except the sound. I knew that there are a lot of topics about it and thought that someone would fix my problem. So i find the "recommended" fix in near to any topic... uncomment the config.txt "hdmi_drive=2" property.
      After i did this and rebooted the system the whole booting screen was different.

      So normally 3. raspberry icons were on top of the boot screen - > this time i only saw some lines of initialisation code on the top left ~ like 5-10 lines. After that i got a blackscreen.
      After a few times pressing buttons on my controller i managed to start a game in the background.
      So i guess the UI from Retropie - is hidden or moved out of the screen? The Game resolition and size is fine and i can play the games i started. But after i quit the game i always land on a black screen.
      After that i tried all combinations. sometimes with the :
      hdmi_force_hotplug=1
      hdmi_force_edid_audio=1

      combinations, but nothing worked. And i still got no audio at all. (and yes i also got "dtparam=audio=on")

      Did someone got the same problem as me or found a solution?

      Thank you in advance

        Yesterday i installed the newest image of retropie.

        Which image is that ? The PI4 is not supported by the official image.

        After that i plugged it in on my 4k LG TV with a Micro-HDMI cable.

        Which HDMI port have you used ? The Pi4B has two of them, it's recommended you use the 'primary' port, the one next to the USB-C power.
